*This email is from the Graduate School, The Education University of Hong
Kong. I am writing to let you know about an exciting opportunity for your
talented students to apply for our PhD programme at the EdUHK via the RGC
Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS). We believe that partnerships
between us are essential for fostering educational excellence and research
collaboration. *



*The HKPFS is an incredible opportunity for students wishing to engage in
advanced research and make significant contributions to their respective
fields. It provides a monthly stipend to cover living expenses, which
allows PhD candidates to focus on their research. The criteria for
selection include excellent academic performance, an impressive research
proposal, and strong leadership and communication skills. *



*Therefore, we would greatly appreciate it if you could nominate
outstanding students from your university to apply for the HKPFS. Our
dedicated supervisors will work with your nominated potential students to
prepare an impressive research proposal and vision statement. For any
successful HKPFS applicants, we suggest forming a supervision panel and
inviting your faculty members to work as co-supervisors. We believe that it
is not only beneficial to the students, but also enables faculty members
from both universities to work on potential research projects and produce
more research outputs.  *



*In addition, to attract the most qualified candidates from your
prestigious university, we hope that you could share the information about
this scholarship opportunity with your faculty members (without a PhD) and

*Overview of the HKPFS*

*Target: Candidates with strong academic backgrounds and research potential
from around the world to pursue PhD studies in Hong Kong *



*Fellowship: The Fellowship provides a monthly stipend (cash) of HK$28,100
(approx. US$3,600) for three years and a conference and research-related
travel allowance of HK$14,000 (approx. US$1,790) per year for each awardee
for a period of up to three years. *



*Application Procedure:*
