Dear Colleagues,


Thank you for registering to be part of “The Futures of Education”
Conference hosted by the Department of Educational Policy Studies at
University of Wisconsin Madison. We are so grateful that all of you will
take part in the event.



We hope that you have a generative conversation with colleagues and
graduate students about the UNESCO “Reimagining Our Futures Together: A New
Social Contract for Education” report. We look forward to hearing the
perspective that each group brings to the session.



To receive event information, please visit the website below and click on
“Register Now” which is halfway down the page in a red box. We hope that
despite time zone challenges, you can participate in as much of the
conference as possible.

The INEI session is scheduled for the start of the conference. The title of
the session is "Panel: Responding to the Futures of Education Report." As a
reminder, each group will nominate a spokesperson who will have 8 minutes
to present the group's responses to the prompts.



By March 21st, we ask that you send a 1-2 page précis (outline) in
Microsoft Word (or another editable software) with the key points your
group will be sharing. Please include:

   - the name of your institution,
   - the names of the participants, and
   - the name and role of the group’s spokesperson who will represent their
   institution on the Friday, March 25th Zoom call. Please note, the
   spokesperson can be a graduate student.

We will compile the précis from the 5 participating institutions and share
them prior to the event.



Thank you all again for participating. Through this workshop, we hope to
continue to strengthen our partnership, build mutual understanding of our
approaches and responses to educational challenges, and continue to engage
in work for a better tomorrow.
