Although pollinator interaction data are critically important to our understanding of the role, importance and effectiveness of (potential) pollinators, they cannot be adequately represented by the current standards for specimen data (such as Darwin Core). Currently the ways that interaction data are recorded and stored, as well as their intended use are very diverse. However, they lack a common protocol and data schema that will allow us to share, compile and integrate them in web portals and eventually use them to build decision support systems for conservation and sustainable use in agriculture, for example. To help address this problem we want to develop a protocol for managing pollinator interaction data that can be widely adopted by the scientific community, and reflects as much as possible the knowledge and input of that community. This list was set up to allow us to collaborate on the development of that protocol. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the Poll-interaction Archives. Using Poll-interaction
To post a message to all the list members, send email to poll-interaction@listas.usp.br. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Poll-interaction

Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email.
